Scholarship Value and Duration:
The UTS offers a scholarship value of €3,000 to €22,000 for one year. If the Master’s program is two years, students may receive an additional UTS in the second year, equal to the amount received in the first year, subject to meeting the requirements.
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be an international student from both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA countries
- Have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master’s programs starting in September 2023
- Hold a student number
- Not have graduated from a UT graduate program
- Comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable)
- Meet the general English language test requirement
- Not be eligible for a Dutch study loan
- Belong to the top 5-10% of their class
Application Process:
To apply for the UTS, candidates must first apply for admission to a Master’s program at the University of Twente. Once admitted, they can apply for the scholarship with their student number. The application deadlines are February 1, 2023 (for Round 1) and May 1, 2023 (for Round 2).
